Proof of the adage "to each their own" :) Although the iPad is a wonderful, versatile device, it will not replace my Kindle (and I have the old one!) - at least not yet! Good thing for Amazon, though - they don't care…

I have neither Kindle or iPad, but I bought an e-reader recently for the specific purpose of reading. It doesn't even have wifi. If I had bought iPad or some other tablet PC, the least I would do is read. All those bells and whistles distract.
